Geographic Position:

The family-owned 3-Star-Hotel Stella Marina is situated on the Tyrrhenian side of the Calabrian coast, 10 km south of Tropea.
It rises on the promontory of Capo Vaticano, only 300m away from the beautiful beach of Grotticelle and the romantic bay of Praja di Fuoco. In the air-conditioned restaurant regional specialities are offered and all guests can enjoy the typical Calabrian Cuisine affectionately prepared by Mamma Maria and her son-in-law Mimmo. The menu is accompanied with home-made products such as sheep cheese, salami specialities, mouth-watering desserts and a good regional wine. The family team is supported by the two daughters who anticipate every wish of their guests in the reception and in the restaurant. The meals are served in on the large, shady veranda with seaview and once a week the Hotel offers a typical Calabrian Evening with a big barbecue for all guests with fish or meat and typical side-dishes served on a large Buffet in relaxed atmosphere. Grotticelle-beach can be reached easily on foot (300m) or alternatively by shuttle bus transfer. After Dinner you can enjoy the warm summer evenings on an evening walk to the close panoramic scenery of Capo Vaticano (Belvedere), to the lighthouse or to one of the surrounding Gelateria. Service & Amenities:

Stella Marina offers 40 double rooms with private bathroom, which are equipped with rustic wood furniture in country house style. It is fascinating that each rooms is different and furnished in an individual style. Some double rooms are connected with an additional children's room. All rooms have a balcony - some of them with seaview and the possibility to admire the impressive sunsets over the Eolian Islands. Next to the main building there are some terraced bungalows (without kitchen) with a large Veranda and a small private garden in front of them, which are particularly convenient for families with children. These bungalows are composed of a double room, a bathroom and a vestibule in which two further beds are available. All rooms are provided with air conditioning, TV, telephone and hair dryer.
