If you looking for a holiday home on the AMALFI COAST, try this charming apartment in Erchie, a picturesque, romantic little village on the coast. You will simply love it! It is built on rocky slopes, some 30 meters high above the beach and the views from the balcony on the sea and the tiny village of Erchie below are impressive. The house is bathed by the sun but, also in hot summers, you will enjoy a pleasant temperature as the sea breeze softly blows at your balcony. Even in winter the climate is lovely thanks to the warm Mediterranean waters and to the high mountains, up to one thousand meters high, that protect Erchie from the northern winds.
Erchie is so small a village that you will not find it on most maps. With a few hundreds inhabitants, mostly fishermen, Erchie is a romantic and quiet village on the Amalfi Coast. The heart of the village is the main beach which is surrounded by rocky slopes covered with luxuriant vegetation dispersed with little white houses. Many exclusive beaches and coves where to bathe, dive or take the sun, are hidden along the coast and can be reached only by boat.
Ask Ignazio to take you by boat to one of these fabulous beaches and tell him when he has to come back to pick you up. The shuttle-boat service will cost you only a few euros. Ignazio has his little boat rental business to the right end of the Erchie beach.
In Erchie you will find two food stores and three restaurants (not all of them though open the year around). Franco, at restaurant Delfino, cooks excellent fish dishes prepared according to the local tradition.Erchie is a place where you feel you have stepped back 100 years in time, where you walk three times slower and rush nowhere. Be prepared to embrace ?il dolce far niente?, the sweetness of doing nothing. Forget your projects and deadlines. And escape to Erchie. But of course you will neither want to miss the Amalfi Coast international jet-set holiday resorts. Beloved by artists from everywhere, with their enchanting views, shopping and strolls by the sea, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and Ravello are only few kilometres away from Erchie. Capri, the island of the dreams, with its incomparable beauty, can be reached in less than one hour by hydrofoil from the Amalfi harbour. What else? Pompeii, is less than one hour drive, Paestum, a little more than one hour. A visit to this world famous locations is a must. Erchie is very well located at the centre of them all and you can make all these trips by bus (the next bus stop is only 250m away).
To go speedily down to the beach from your apartment, you may use a private flight of steps. These are steep steps and it would take only a few moments to get down to the beach. Going up back to the house you may take a longer but easier route. There are different options the easiest one being following the ?via Provinciale? (car road). Obviously this would take more time. On the beach, in summer, you can rent a sun shade (ombrellone) and beach chairs, eat in one of the three restaurants or relax over a drink on the beach verandas.

Description of the apartment:

The apartment of 95 square meters is within a private, gated property, on two floors. It?s new, comfortable, with elegant modern furniture, very light, sunny with a balcony facing the sea. Featuring two bedrooms on different floors with comfortable king-size double beds, private toilette for the bedroom upstairs, open space sitting room, kitchen with all appliances dishwasher included, bathroom with combined bath tub-shower, bidet, washing machine, independent central heating, air conditioning, garage.
Please, consider that the rental price includes use of the house private closed garage. When comparing prices with other accommodations on the Amalfi Coast you should consider the cost of parking your car. Only a few rental offers include the garage and, on the Amalfi Coast, for the narrowness of the roads, it is not possible to just park along the streets. Depending on the season, an open parking place could cost up to 150 euro per week.

General Information:

From the beginning of April to the end of October the apartment can only be rented for a minimum of 1 week (from Saturday to Saturday). In the remaining months it is possible to agree on other days of arrival/departure. Your stay begins on arrival day at 5 p.m. and ends on departure day at 10 a.m. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. On arrival, you have to pay a deposit of Euro 155,- for eventual damages which will be reimbursed at departure after a short apartment control.

The indicated prices include:

- Water, electricity, gas, TV, parking, bed linen and towels, final cleaning

Additional Costs:

- Heating and air-conditioning (on request): The additional costs for heating during winter amount to Euro 45,-/week. The additional costs for the use of the air-conditioning are charged at the end of your stay according to consumption.
